Doing the Ring Road on a Saturday morning when traffic is light. This drive goes clockwise, starting and ending at the Eastern Nile Corniche underneath the Al Fostat bridge. On a workday it can easily take three hours to do a lap on the Ring Road and it's rather hopping from jam to jam. Under this ideal weekend morning condition it took just little more than an hour, even including short stops on the bridges of Ring Road's Nile crossings in South and North, each featuring a panoramic view over the Nile river.
