There were reports that some people from different countries couldn't get visas when arriving in Egypt, which made many people upset. But Egypt's government said these reports are not true. The government talked to the Ministry of Tourism and confirmed that there are no new rules for getting visas when entering Egypt. People can still get visas when they arrive, and they don't have to get them before from the embassy or online.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities also said that all the usual procedures at Egyptian airports and ports are still the same.

The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Ahmed Issa, mentioned that there are some new rules to make it easier for tourists to come to Egypt. For example, citizens from 180 countries can get a five-year visa for $700. Chinese and Indian tourists can also get visas when they arrive at the airports or ports. There are special rules for tourists from different countries, like Iranians who can only visit certain places. Turkish tourists can get visas at the airport instead of the embassy. Iraqi tourists need e-visas if they are under 16 or over 60 years old, and they can get compulsory entry visas at the ports if they have certain visas from other countries like the US or the UK.
